The experience while playing with a controller feels poor. I had heard the PC version works with an XBOX 360 controller and as I'd recently played Far Cry 3 and 4 on Playstation 3 and 4, I thought I'd use a controller to have a similar experience.
I decided to go back and give the game another chance as I've enjoyed all the other games in the series. Due to frustration after stealthily making my way through the best part of a town on a lake only to have enemies respawn by the time I had reached the far side, I abandoned it. I started to play Far Cry 2 a few years back.
